At your home with a WiFi network it shouldn't take more than 2 minutes for a 200 miles trip. download the data relating to the voice and maps in the surroundings. How in the world can I pre-load a 200 mile trip at zoomed in that far? Get real-time GPS navigation, traffic, and transit info, and find what you need by getting the latest information on businesses, including grocery stores, pharmacies and other important places. if you have not already done so before, download and install the Waze app. The idea of pre-downloading map tiles seems like a reasonable choice when planning a trip, but caching them manually by scrolling the trip while zoomed in close seems a bit odd too. Just today, I drove from the front range area to the western slope and back. During both travels waze calculated the distance correctly but the arriving time was with a lag of roughly around 2 hrs. ![]() The sampling I did was from Bengaluru to Chennai and vice versa. Routing in these areas is far more important than traffic updates. Just wondering why and how google maps is providing a more closer to accurate time and waze provides me with a lag of close to 2 hrs. I can drive for only 30 minutes from my home and be out of range of any cell tower. Dougp01 wrote:I live at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado.
